A very unique race that starts at the top of the world-famous "Frog Hill" in Waynesville, MO. The beginning of the race is a big descent where you can expect fast times! Once on the trail, you will run alongside the Roubidoux river and take in some beautiful country views. The course will challenge you to conquer "Superior Hill". And when you do, you will be rewarded with your very own frog medal to commemorate your effort and brag to your friends. So hop on over to Waynesville, MO and join us!
Lots for the family to do as they wait for you to finish. They can enjoy downtown Waynesville and it's shops, fish, explore the trails, or play on the playground. And since the county's annual Frogfest Festival will be going on at the finish line, you might want to stay for the whole day! It's sure to be fun for the whole family.
The Leap Frog 5K will take place on Friday, October 6, 2017, at 6:00 pm at the Waynesville Park.
The 1/2 Marathon and 10K races start at 8:30 a.m. at East Elementary School in Waynesville located at 1501 State Road F where there will be plenty of parking. Registration and sign in will begin at 7am.
Packet pickup is Friday, October 6, at Waynesville City Park from 4pm - 7pm.
There will be a shuttle at the finish line to take the finishers back to the starting line. Will leave approximately every 15 minutes.
For those unable to attend in person, we offer a virtual event. Simply provide proof of your completion of the race or give us your word and we will mail you your shirt and medal! You can even take the hills out of the race if you would like. Your course, your race. Join us!!
Age group awards are 3 deep male and female in these groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over for both the 10k and half marathon.
